As you are reading these words, you may be thinking about and looking for a way to improve your sense of fulfilment, success and true happiness in your life.
It seems that some people nearly always attain success in relationships, business and personal fulfilment, while others in similar circumstances may do well, but never seem to reach the higher levels.
We often say they are “lucky” but I suggest that luck has nothing to do with it.
What does have everything to do with it are the following six factors.
They are the areas which every one of us need to improve in order to attain personal fulfilment, success and happiness. Which of these would you wish to improve?
1. Self-image.
Your beliefs about your self affect how you feel and how you appear to others. Your self-confidence and self-worth are the result of your self-image.
2. Self Control.
The true fact is that either you control your life or you are controlled by it.
3. Creativity.
In its broadest sense it is the artist and the scientist within you, who solves your problems and brings new ideas.
4. Cooperation.
No man is an island, and the successful person will be expert at communication skills, persuading and encouraging others to make his own and their shared goals come true.
5. Planning.
It is said, that “If you don’t know where you are going, you’ll end up somewhere else”. If someone doesn’t have clear and focused goals, they cannot complain if the “somewhere else” is not to their liking.
6. Concentration.
Willingness to get going, concentrated effort, persistence and resilience in the face of obstacles - all are crucial to success in achieving life goals.
The pain can be the result of accident, sickness or disease but the point is if you know where the sensation is coming from then it is usually much easier to diagnose and then treat. Sometimes, however, pain isn’t dealt with so easily and it remains with us despite all efforts to banish it.
This is called ‘chronic’ pain and is distinguishable from ‘acute’ pain by its persistence and common examples of chronic pain include backaches, migraine headaches, and arthritis. There is no preventative action you can take to stop chronic pain and it can affect someone at anytime during their life from almost any situation from accident, injury or disease. Often the cause of chronic pain is actually cured but the nerves still believe the condition is still present and the pain will often become the condition itself.
Natural pain relief treatments are becoming more popular as many people have decided that prescription medication taken over prolonged periods is not only harmful through adverse side effects, but to maintain the effectiveness of the drugs, increase dosages must be consumed.
Acupuncture has been used as a form of natural pain relief and cure for many chronic conditions for over two thousand years. One natural pain relief treatment that has been used for many thousands of years is acupuncture. Using tiny and incredibly thin needles, acupuncture is an ancient medical treatment.
Anyone that has used acupuncture will say how effective it is and those that use it are generally suffering from chronic pain like that caused by arthritis, back pain and migraines for example.
Other alternative therapies are used to provide natural pain relief like herbal remedies which can also make claim to being side effect free. Herbal remedies as are often used for natural pain relief in combination and people suffering with arthritis find that Emu oil is very useful for their condition.
Some people do not like using these herbal remedies, not because they do not provide enough relief but because they take longer to work; the plus side is that nothing synthetic is entering the system that can harm it. If the truth be known then one way of even having to avoid natural pain relief is to change the way you life by eating healthier which means cutting back on processed foods but increasing your intake of fruit and vegetables.
Take care to get enough sleep each night, and take time out of each day for exercise as even simple activities like taking the stairs at work or a walk around the block go a long way towards improving your health.
